Departure Check List
Basically, leave as you found it for next visitor.

•Beds stripped, linens and towels washed and beds remade.
• Vacuum (vacuum cleaner in closet across from thermostat).
• All dishes washed and counters cleaned.
• Clean dishes may be left in the dishwasher.
• Nothing left in the refrigerator that will spoil.
• Clean coffee maker if used.
• All bathroom lavatories cleaned and water turned off at each fixture completely.
• Turn the thermostat to 60 degrees in the heating season and to 78 in the cooling season.
• Turn off the icemaker if used.
• Close damper in the fireplace if used (only after fire is completely out).
• All lights out when leaving.
• Check outside lights off.
• All outside doors locked.
• All garbage bagged. Leave it in the big garbage bin in the Utility Room It is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Bring all seat cushions in from outside.
• Check for personal belongings.
We ask that Guests use the High Hampton Housekeeping service by calling Les Green at (828)743-1784...you'll give the address as 46 Meadow Ridge. They will need a couple of days notice and they don't clean on the weekends. They'll usually come in after you're gone...on Monday or Tuesday. Make sure you return the key to the hiding place...they know where it is. You'll leave your name and address on the counter and they'll bill you direct...the fee is around $50 for a couple but a bit more if there are more guests and they have to also clean upstairs.
Please leave a report of any accidents, damage, repairs needed, etc., on the kitchen counter.
